Shelbourne
Perfectly situated in Kensington, the Shelbourne is a bright and spacious one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment overlooking a lovely garden square. Everything about the setting will make you feel right at home in one of London’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. Here in a row of historic terraced homes, which are listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England, you’ll find the Shelbourne. Inside, the living room has three large windows overlooking the garden below. A dining nook nearby, fully equipped kitchen, and finely finished bathroom complete the comfortable home setting.
The beautiful light continues in the bedroom with its calming muted colours and small staircase leading up to a sunroom. This is a fine spot to enjoy a good book or continue through the sunroom to find an outdoor terrace for quiet moments in the evenings or starting your day with a cup of tea. This private outdoor space is incredibly rare for a central London apartment and is just one of the many features guests love during their stay at Shelbourne. Shelbourne Apartment
by Amy CMy husband and I spent a week at the Shelbourne apartment and couldn't have been more satisfied with it or with the services of London Perfect. The apartment is very comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor space, as well as access to a lovely private garden across the street. The kitchen is well equipped, and the location, just a few minutes walk from an underground station, is ideal. In addition, the London Perfect office is always immediately available to answer any question. We would definitely stay again.
Darling apartment
by Soheila WeitzWe loved the apartment, though I got sick and had to stay home, I wish I felt better to use outside. The location is great near tube and supper market and pharmacy (booth). Comfortable bed and great pillows. The apartment was equipped with everything. I just love the history of the buildings and for sure will stay here again.
Great location-perfect terrace!
by Stacy SmithWe stayed in the 1-bedroom Shelbourne for 5 nights. It is the perfect location in Kensington! It felt like a home within the busy city. We all said we were glad to not be staying in the busy parts of the city. The size of the flat felt perfect for myself, my husband and our 10 year old daughter. Her couch bed was very comfortable! Our favorite thing was the terrace. It was perfect for June evenings! We also took advantage of the park across the street. We felt like locals enjoying an evening there! The tube was such a great walking distance. I knew it was close via the map- but it felt even closer by a quick walk. Also, Glouchester Rd had some many restaurant options. The building also felt very safe. I would book again!
Lovely Stay
by Dennis LaabsMy wife and I rented the Shelbourne apartment for 6 days in May, this was our third rental we have used with London Perfect and have been happy with each apartment. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and functioned well. The bath was very nice and we used the washer/dryer with good success. The outdoor space was great and we only had one day with some construction noise. The TV is set up to use your apps like Amazon, Netflix, etc. and worked well with the wifi.. Oen thing to note is you will have to take your luggage up 9 steps to reach the elevator and down 6-7 steps to reach the apartment. Great stay and a great apartment for 2 people. Definitely would rent again.
Great apartment
by Adriana R.We found the apartment to be very comfortable, well appointed and very clean. All the day-to-day essentials were provided, including shower gel, shampoo, moisturizer, dish and laundry detergent. Nice extras such as tea, coffee, biscuits, sugar, orange juice, cooking condiments were much appreciated (and not always a given in short term rentals). Of course the location is great, close to several museums and a short walk from the tube station. We were initially mildly concerned about the construction noise next door, but that turned out to be barely noticeable and not a problem at all. Overall we were beyond pleased with everything and we would absolutely choose this apartment again for our future stays in London. Many thanks to the host and the Vacation Perfect team!
Shelbourne Review
by Linda PickeringWe enjoyed our stay at the apartment with few issues; elevator not working the first day and some construction noise next door. Overall a great location and spacious apartment, we look forward to using London Perfect again, your attention to detail and follow up is wonderful and your recommendation of Lushi Limo excellent! Thank you.
Great visit
by Angie BaechtoldPerfect floorplan and lovely decor. Loved the park outside and the plants galore on the private deck.
EXTRA
by Julie WurtsDue to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to adjust our plans and London Perfect handled it - perfectly. From Baker's, our greeter, immediate responses and willingness to go the EXTRA mile to help us to the office being EXTRA accommodating with luggage, timing, and offering EXTRA service and kindness. They all went above and beyond in ways that made a HUGE difference to our entire experience. I cannot stress how helpful they all were in times of need! As for the apartment, EXTRA fabulous. Clean and bright and charming. On a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood, yet right next to the action. We look forward to returning and have full confidence in London Perfect and their professional team. Thank you, Jo Baker and the others. Cheers.
Loved the Shelbourne
by Tracy ZamsWe absolutely loved the apartment. It truly felt like home for the two weeks that we stayed there. The bed was super comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The host was super nice and left us tea, coffee, juice, water, etc. We loved the area, the local restaurants, and how convenient the location was. You could walk to multiple grocery and convenient stores. It was also a quick walk to Gloucester Tube Station. I highly recommend London Perfect, as well as, the Shelbourne.
