Payment: Upon reserving, 30% of the total rent is non-refundable.
€1000 damage deposit, refundable less damages paid locally or authorized to your credit card on arrival.
Utilities: Heat and A/C dates on/off and daily cycles are set by government.
Optional pool heat for a supplemental fee, paid locally.
Booking period: High and Mid-season rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays may be possible upon request for other seasons.

We Absolutely Loved It

It was beautiful that time of year in October. The house was close to the little village and we drove into town for dinner a couple of nights. We used it as a home base to visit other sites in Tuscany. The home was so comfortable. Everything was lovely, and we could not have been happier there!

AMAZING! The 16th century farm house was so beautiful!

The bathrooms were so nicely modernized but the charm throughout the house was comfortable and beautiful. Our host, Martino was there to greet us and show us around. He provided fruit, milk, eggs, cookies, coffee, and olive oil from their own trees to get us started. He also arranged for us two separate personal wine tours with driver. Eleanora, the chef was incredible! She was sooooo adorable and her meals were scrumptious!!! We chose to have her prepare most of our dinners there. I miss her so already! We visited Sienna, Montepulciano, Orvieta , Florence and a nearby lake town.

Riposo Verde Review

We had a wonderful week at Riposo Verde. The property is not quite as elegant as it appears in the photos; it is actually a bit rustic. But, it is large, comfortable and situated on a quiet plot of land with a garden and fruit trees. We were there in early October and enjoyed fresh tomatoes, yummy Concord grapes and other goodies that we incorporated into meals. The nearest town, San Casciano dei Bagni is delightful but has just one of everything. That said, we did several day trips to Orvieto (a must) and Civita de Bagnoreggio. This was fine for us, as we intended to have a quiet and relaxing trip. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and made cooking a breeze. One thing you must do here:hire Elenora to make you a fabulous meal (or two). She does everything - shop, cook, serve and clean for the cost of a restaurant meal at La Fontanella. What a treat after a long day of sightseeing! The owner is a wonderful host and did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. Also, he is a talented professional photographer and took a family photo of us at the end of our week. Riposo Verde is a lovely Tuscan idyll - go and enjoy!! This is our fourth Italy Perfect vacation and we will use them again - properties are well chosen, vetted and Lisa is always ready to be of assistance!!

Riposo Verde Review

If you love a tranquil setting in the country, set in the midst of medieval villages, fortresses and castles, this is a perfect place for your family vacation. After spending four days in the heat and bustle of Rome, Riposa Verde was a heavenly respite with it's cool breezes, gorgeous olive trees, and swimming pool. The nearby town of San Casciano Dei Bagni could not be more charming with it's own castle and delicious little stores. Our favorite days started off by going into town and bringing back pastries, honey, cheese, salami, raviolis and fruit from the delightful, little Italian specialty stores. Days were sprinkled with road trips to nearby sights and lounging by the pool, reading books. Favorite day trips included visiting Siena, Orvieto, Assisi (recommend stopping in Solomeo and Deruta along the way), Pienza, climbing the medieval tower of Radicofani, and a gorgeous drive for a beach day in Monte Argentario, stopping in Pitigliano along the way. At night, we were treated to the best dinner of our lives at the Fighini Castle up the road. Worth it to order the seven course dinner. Ristorante Daniela and La Fontanella are not to be missed. On Saturdays/Sundays, lunch at Santa Chiara in Sarteano was fantastic. But maybe the best part of all, was coming home to dinners prepared by Eleonora. Our stay during November was magical. Loved being in Tuscany during beautiful fall weather. Villa Riposo Verde was everything we had hoped it would be...and more! The greeter was courteous and helpful and the location was beautiful. Loved the little town nearby, San Casciano dei Bagni, very picturesque. Had a memorable meal one everything at Daniela's restaurant, she was so sweet and accommodating, even treating us to a free appetizer and after-dinner sweets. Loved our stay!

Riposo Verde Review

From the moment we drove up to the incredibly charming, comfortable, casually elegant Riposo Verde in late October, I was thrilled. I immediately walked through the entire house and around the grounds and had (mentally) moved in within the first hour.The villa is so inviting and so wonderfully livable...I really can't describe how instantly relaxed and at home I felt. What a perfect stay; the views & privacy, the deluxe beds, sheets...well appointed kitchen, comfortable, cozy sofas, etc...even the fragrance of the reed diffusers were divine. So much attention to detail. It really was like something out of a high-end interiors magazine or a movie, but not pretentious or precious. And I haven't even mentioned the countryside....Tuscany at its most beautiful. The lovely village of San Casciano dei Bagni is a short, easy 5 minute drive from the house, (try Ristorante Daniela for a special evening out), with many surrounding villages nearby. There is an upscale spa called Fonteverde just outside the town, but there are also free rustic thermal springs right below the center of town...take your suits and a picnic and make an afternoon or evening of it! So much to explore, but with a home this truly special and lovely, you may be tempted to stock up on food, wine & books and simply lounge by the pool or fireside and soak in this most marvelous of domiciles. Thank you Italy Perfect, for the opportunity to live my Tuscan dream.
