Situated near the picturesque town of Montechiello and the beautiful small city of Pienza, it is a wonderful setting for the perfect Tuscany holiday.

Neighborhood: Val d'Orcia

Size: 7,535 sq ft/700 m2

Accessibility/Security: Access to the second level is by an exterior staircase.

Pool: Opens May 9 to October 3. There are no alarms for the pool. Guests are fullyresponsible for safety of all.

Payment: Upon reserving, 30% of the total rent is non-refundable.

€800 damage deposit, refundable less damage authorized to a credit card on arrival.

€250 final cleaningpaid in cash on arrival.

Baseline utilities included.

Heating and A/C paid locally. A/C €80 per day and heating (GPL) €0.976 per liter.

Services: Continental breakfast available on the first morning, welcome buffet, cleaning (3hrs/mid week) with linen and towel change included in rental.

Booking Period: Saturday to Saturday bookings

Check in/out: Check in 4pm-7pm, by appointment. Check out by 10am.

Monticchiello (2 mins Driving)
In the heart of Val d'Orcia, this ancient village reflects its roots and its role as a stronghold for the Republic of Siena. An exhibition park below the medieval fortress is a nice wander and location of events. Several good restaurants invite you to return.
Pienza (7 mins driving)
A small and delightfull town featuring gorgeous architecture and amazing views. This peaceful town is known as the "Ideal Renaissance Town". Stroll along the walled city and capture views from every angle.
Chianciano Terme (12 mins Driving)
Fellini loved this town famous for its thermal baths. The ancient defensive wall surrounds a historic castle, beautiful clock tower, museum with art from the renaissance times and an archeological museum.
Montepulciano (17 mins Driving)
Top Tuscan town known for its eponymous wine, architecture from medieval times to the Renaissance.
Cortona (27 mins Driving)
Beautiful hilltop Tuscan town. In addition to restaurants and shops, an Etruscan museum, an archeological park with ancient fortifications and stretches of Roman roads. Paintings by Fra Angelico.
Montalcino (36 mins Driving)
Brunello is the famous wine of Montalcino. In the breath-taking Val d'Ocia, it is also know for its unspoiled 16th century architecture from which the views are phenomenal. Seasonal concerts and festivals.
Siena (56 mins Driving)
Called Italy's loveliest medieval city with cuisine, art, museums, churches and famous art. Unique medieval culture that is reflected in the twice annual Palio horse race that some call insane. Look for videos.
Arezzo (58 mins Driving)
Classic fortified Tuscan hill-top city with famous cathedral, significant frescoes, beautiful piazzas and streets. Monthly antique's fair. One of the most important Etruscan cities and located on the important Via Cassia Roman north-south highway.
Perugia (67 mins Driving)
A great city of Italy, the capital of Umbria. Important during Etruscan times, it remained a destination through the Middle Ages when it established its University. Gorgeous churches, fantastic museums AND Perugina Chocolate Factory.
Florence (112 mins Driving)
Capital of Tuscany, home of the Renaissance. Architecture and art. Food and shopping galore.
Rome (175 mins Driving)
The capital of Italy and the seat of the Roman civilization 2000 years ago.

We really did find family love here. Sorry to be a little sappy, but the villas was wonderful and the location excellent. The nearby towns are classic Tuscany. Manager excellent. What else is there?
