This was wonderful place for our family of 9. We felt so comfortable in your home. It was a perfect location to explore that part of Rome. Our greeter, was fantastic and very responsive to all our questions. She recommended some dining places that were wonderful and the stocked kitchen was perfect to feed our little ones! We all had terrific sleeps on the beautifully made beds with fine linens. Thank you.

Loved this place! This place was exactly as shown and as described. It was gorgeous, clean, spacious, and the host was extremely responsive. The host met us at the home and walked us through the unit so that we knew exactly how to do everything. It was well-stocked and comfortable. It was perfect for our party of 9. We stayed at this Apartment for six nights for a family trip of 9 people, ages 4 to 63. The apartment location is perfect for visiting all the top attractions in Rome. Our greeter was super helpful in getting us checked in and settled. The ItalyPerfect team also helped us arrange for airport transfer service which made the transportation from the airport very easy when it could have been chaotic. The Apartment itself is really cool and well appointed. I loved the high ceilings and beautiful drapes. We walked to dinner most nights and we felt safe doing so. I'm a runner and was able to take some fun runs along the Tiber river nearby. I would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to stay there again some day!

First off, the apartment is even more beautiful than the photos - large, clean, a well-stocked kitchen, high end linens, and a terrific house manager. The neighborhood is quiet with restaurants, cafes, groceries all a few minutes away. It's a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and 10 minutes to the Spanish Steps area. We stayed for a month and it really felt like home. We were sorry to leave. My advice: don't hesitate; book this apartment!

Great apartment in a very quiet neighborhood. The place is immaculate, and extremely comfortable. We loved the location. It is a quick walk to the Vatican or Spanish Steps. If we return to Rome, we would absolutely want to stay here again. Additionally, the staff at Italy Perfect is outstanding. Accommodating in every way.

Everything about this stay was perfect! The unit was spotless, spacious, and very well equipped. And the location was super convenient and easily walkable to the majority of the ancient city historic sites and attractions, and The Vatican. Located in a safe walkable neighborhood with many shops and restaurants within comfortable walking distance. Would strongly recommend for a central Rome location!

 

What a PERFECT base from which to explore and enjoy all that is uniquely ROMA! Our group of 9 adults found the property spotless and superbly equipped from top to bottom! Check in was personalized, flexible, and easy, and all advance communications prior to arrival and once onsite, were timely, efficient, and professional! The apartment is ideally located with easy walking access to shopping, restaurants, groceries, and public transportation, and just a 15 -10 minute walk from the center of the Old City and the Vatican! Only recommendation would be to upgrade the sofa's in the main living area as they are beginning to show a bit of wear and tear.

Greeter was awesome, we had a toilet that wouldn't flush the first day and she sent the plumber right over the second day. It was needed as we had 4 couples from our family. Very comfortable beds, great location. Were able to walk to lots of things, and the train was close as well.

Property was gorgeous. The amenities were lovely and the location was perfect as it was on a quiet street yet minutes away from restaurants, shops, cafes. Our host was very sweet and communicative throughout the stay. She even stocked the home with water and fruits and few snacks for our arrival which was so nice after a long trip. Highly recommend. We felt very safe in the area and were out till midnight on most nights with kids

We had a great time. There we 7 of us. The place is located close to most of the places one wants to see. Metro station was close. Great please to stay for larger groups!

This place is great. We stayed here with 8 people, 4 adults and 4 kids. It was safe, clean, easy to use, and enough room to really spread out! We needed WiFi, AC, and a place to wash and dry our clothes and they did not disappoint. The beds were comfortable and clean. The location is nice because it was more residential and less tourist so you had more local restaurants. Thanks again!

This is such a wonderful place to stay. It was clean and spacious. 4 adults and 4 kids stayed here and were able to cool off, connect to WiFi and wash our clothes. The apartment was spacious and sparking clean. Beds all very comfortable. Bathrooms beautiful and updated. Sunny large windows. Five minute walk to subway and bus lines even closer. Many shops and restaurants one block away on Main Street but street of the house is quiet and residential, a lovely combo. We had room for three adults and four children to have space and privacy. Our flight was greatly delayed and our greeter was very flexible about meeting us late to let us inside. Italy Perfect communicated early and often and helped arrange cars to airport. A great stay!

 

This home was the perfect place for a family of eight. It's every bit as beautiful as the pictures. The location is the perfect distance to walk almost everywhere and the neighborhood is filled with great restaurants and shops. The house manager welcomed us warmly and was available to answer every question we had during our stay. We can't wait to go back.

We spent a week in Elegante over the Thanksgiving vacation and it was spectacular. Very centrally located, exactly as shown in the pictures, and the check-in/check-out process was exceptionally smooth. Our greeter was very accommodating on our arrival schedule and also had a number of great suggestions for local restaurants. We really can't say enough great things about our experience in flat as well as the overall experience with Italy Perfect. We will certainly look nowhere else when we come back!

We were a group of 8 and loved this apartment. Great space, quiet neighborhood. Great location wonderful hospitality throughout the stay by our hostess.

We had a fantastic time during our month-long stay in Elegante. We, and our guests, enjoyed everything about it. The apartment quality is high and it is totally equipped. The manager is great; always available when we needed her and ready with answers.

The apartment and location nothing short of fabulous. Traveled with family of 6 (aged 8-78) and each had their own (5) bedrooms. Location is just outside (2 blocks) the old city (Prati) easily accessible by cab or very short walk. Apartment is huge with 15 feet ceiling and beautifully decorated. This is the way a Rome trip is meant to be. Best part for me is that the apartment in every room is incredibly quiet. As a New Yorker I needed that break when on vacation. All good, sites etc easily accessible. Only negative I would say is that while the apartment is air conditioned it was still a tad warm be it in we were in a July heat wave. I think air conditioner adequate but it was just my American sensibility and used to freezing AC even in hottest days of summer. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was a very lovely apartment in the heart of Rome! Extended family of nine traveling in Rome, and this great apartment was just what we needed! Everyone had their own space, and there was even A/C in the extremely hot days we were there. Our host was very gracious and thorough in providing details about the apartment and Rome. Beautiful and spacious apartment! very elegant and well decorated, it has many beautiful spaces. It is very well located in a residential area, but with a lot of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. A few steps from Piazza del Popolo... you can walk to the Vatican and Castel San Angelo. The hostesses left us gifts and hospitality. We will definitely be back

This apartment is just stunning. It is huge, the layout is fantastic, and it was just a pleasure to stay in. It is beautifully decorated, with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful, with amazing shopping just a block away on Via Cola di Rienzo and great restaurants everywhere. Communication with the hosts was easy and quick. The apartment was well stocked with kitchen supplies and bathroom necessities. We would love to be back soon!

Excellent apartment, great for large families, one floor with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Location is very good, walking distance to most of the attractions and shopping. All communications with the greeter were really good.

Amazing apartment and location. Family of 6 could fit great here. Could walk to many of Rome's amazing sights. We had a blast here and the 2 years was worth the wait for this trip. Ate too much pizza and gelato, but created many great memories. Loved exploring the bowels of Rome.

My family and I stayed here over the Christmas holidays and had a wonderful time. The apartment is spacious and well stocked with all the amenities you might need. We mostly ate out but the times we cooked a light meal, the kitchen was really nice. Check in was very easy and everyone at Vacation Perfect was incredibly helpful. There a lots of wonderful restaurants nearby. We walked to many of the sites nearby, including the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon.

We visited Rome, Florence, and Venice and stayed at Italy Perfect properties at all three stops (Elegante in Rome, S. Croce Medici in Florence, and Cassia in Venice). We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Italy Perfect to anyone! I was especially appreciative of the excellent services offered by Italy Perfect staff that ensured we had unforgettable experiences everywhere we went (e.g. airport transfers, background on locations, tips and tricks, etc.). The apartment was absolutely stunning, clean and had everything you needed. There was more than enough room for the five of us. Everything is very walkable and we ate it several very good restaurants within blocks. Check in with very easy and we enjoyed the snacks and other goodies left for us. We had an amazing time and didn't want to leave! We will be back and we will be renting the London in Paris apartments as well. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts!! 

I was really comfortable in this flat. (We originally scheduled a different flat from ItalyPerfect, but there was a problem with the air conditioning in that one, so they gave us this much larger flat to substitute.) The place was just enormous, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The think I liked most was that the kitchen was well-stocked: I've stayed in so many AirBnBs in the past without adequate kitchen equipment. The apartment was very quiet, which is important to me. The noise from the street isn't very much because it isn't a busy street and if you shut the windows it isn't noticeable at all. The local host, Barbara, was quite helpful and friendly. They sent a housekeeper once a week to do the cleaning which was really helpful for us.

Our stay, reserved just a few weeks before arrival, came together beautifully thanks to Italy Perfect's fast work and their Rome-based team. The apartment itself is lovely and the neighborhood is wonderful. They organized a good driver service from Venice and to Positano, an electric golf cart for touring and other services that enhanced our comfort and eased our concerns.

The apartment was simply lovely, with large sunny rooms, elegantly appointed in a very convenient and beautiful neighborhood.The Italy Perfect contact was gracious, professional and a perfect hostess as she outfitted our kitchen with delicious provisions of wine and fruit as a welcome gift. The space absorbed the company of niece, friends, sister, and cousin very easily. Italy Perfect and Pat were a pleasure to work with. We decided to stay at Elegante in Rome, which is a terrific apartment - well located, beautifully furnished, spacious, spotless, with good air conditioning in all the bedrooms and living room and dining room, modern bathrooms, and just down the block from a terrific Gelateria. What more can you ask? The neighborhood is great, quiet and off the beaten tourist track, but within walking distance of many of the important sites in Rome. There are lots of really good restaurants in the neighborhood, so we were able to walk to all our dinners. Favorite restaurants were La Zanzara, Il Sorpasso and especially Del Frate. Found a couple of good grocery stores nearby as well, though have to admit the apartment was better stocked upon our arrival than any other vacation rental we've used. Thanks, Pat and Italy Perfect!

We shared this large apartment with another couple for a little over a week (most of it under our friend's name). The location is in a quiet and mostly residential part of Rome (see below) yet easily accessible to restaurants, transportation, and a short walk from some of the classic Roman locales. There is an NH hotel across the street. We went to a different restaurant each evening, all within a short walking distance; there are many to choose from with good reviews. We had stayed on that side of the Tevere in the past and encouraged our friends, who were unfamiliar with it. They are now sold on it. The apartment itself is large and comfortable and could easily accommodate more than our four. The bedrooms are well-sized, air conditioned, and the strong windows provide insulation from any street noise, if necessary. It is also well appointed, with handsome floors, bathroom fixtures and art. The kitchen is fine as well, and has all necessary equipment, dishes, soap, etc. We do not mind stairs, but a renter should be aware that it is much easier to walk up than to use the elevator (which we never figured out, anyway). Similarly it is beneficial to pay in Euros for the apartment whenever possible. [We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! The Italy Perfect Team]

This was a great space for our group of friends. There was more than enough room for us all. The apartment is lovely. The help and information from Italy Perfect was very detailed and helpful. Loved the pesto we found there!

This home was so beautiful and so well located. We could walk to everything we needed to. Very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. They even stocked us with food!

Apartment is in very good order, neat and clean, nicely decorated, not over refurbished and more than enough space for 8 of us. Great area as to visit the various must sees in Rome. Also a lot of good restaurants, bars, bakeries, grocery stores in walking distance. One of the best gelaterias 5 mins by foot... Last but not least very friendly, flexible and helpful host.

We had six people, two couples, each with a kid. Apt had good space for all of us. Overall layout was good. We had beautiful spring weather so no issues with temps, windows often open. Everything worked well and nicely maintained, bathrooms fine. Water pressure reasonable with plenty of hot water. Washing machine worked well and was used several times. Apt located between the Tiber and Vatican. 5 min walk to Piazza del Popolo. Located in a more quiet residential area although it is directly across from a busy hotel which made for some louder nights with windows open. Nice little cafes, gelato and grocery store 1-2 blocks away. Our greeter was lovely and the basket of goodies and wine appreciated. Enjoyed working with Italy Perfect. 2 families stayed for 4 days at New Year. It was very spacious, in a quiet location and perfect location to go and walk over the river into the more touristy areas, as well as next to the Vatican. We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment! It was very clean and in a great Location We walked everywhere, even to the Colosseum . We had nine people total and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped-we cooked Christmas dinner and sat all together in the dining room. There was a washer and separate dryer-not a common thing in Italy. Barbara greeted us and was available to help anytime. The apartment was spectacular! Plenty of room for our three generations. We also enjoyed the nice residential area, with its shops and restaurants. it was not necessary to travel back to the city center {so crowded with tourists} to dine out. Your recommended guide was lovely and very knowledgeable, and showed great patience with the teenage girls. Stefano's driver was wonderful also. It was a great trip! Thanks for all your info.

Barbara greeted us with a large shopping bag filled with goodies (including wine and beer!) a very touching and unexpected welcome. The apartment is in a terrific residential location; walking distance to the Vatican, Piazza del Popolo and Spanish steps, and a block from two of Rome's best gelatterias. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked and bathrooms very functional. There were a couple of odd design flaws - kitchen cabinets that opened left to right, a bathroom sink faucet that was at an awkward height, and no place to put a bar of soap inside one of the showers, but these are minor quibbles and did not detract at all from the gracious lay out and comfort. Having been to Rome many time I decided that when bring my family of 10 along with me I would like them to experience Rome as a local. Since we were traveling during the summer months I want to be away from the crowds of tourists. I could not be happier with my choice of location in the Prati. We had great restaurants, shopping, the Mercato all within easy walking distance and the best gelateria across the street. We could also walk to most major sights. Our apartment was as the name states Elegant and extremely large and impeccably clean and well furnished I would not hesitate to recommend experiencing Rome as a local in the Prati area my advise to anyone staying in this area would be avoid the tourists for dinner and stay local as there are so many great restaurants within walking distance Italy Perfect was a pleasure to work with and offers may great recommendations on guides, restaurants, etc [Thank you Jean, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay! We all loved the Elegante apartment. Lovely furniture, artwork, space, and light. Our suggestions for some small improvements - include a few blankets to use on the couch or when the quilts are too warm, provide written instructions for the washer and dryer, and include CNN on all televisions. We very much appreciated the coffee, milk, cookies, and ice cream provided in the kitchen.

Centrally located and easy walks to most everything in the city; Vatican, Borghese Gallery, Colossuem, Spanish Steps, Trastevere, Trevi Fountain, and one block off another main shopping street Via Cola di Rienzo. The Elegante was the perfect place for our group of eight. It is well situated near many attractions, shopping and great restaurants. The apartment is spacious and well appointed. We were thrilled with our home away from home in Rome. We were welcomed by Barbara who was very helpful and had no difficulty summoning taxis to the location with a typical four minute wait. We recently did an adult family vacation to Italy. We had eight adults. We were thinking at our first stop we would do hotels in Rome however saw an option to do something nicer. The four and a half bedroom apartment with kitchen, living room, and dining room we secured with Italy Perfect was quite nice. The place was as advertised and all of us were happy there. One thing however to think about as we had some older folks is that in this case you had to carry the suitcases yourselves up steps, so make sure you can do that prior to going this route.We were in Prati area, nice to be able to get out and walk to so much, including all our dining, Vatican, and also a bit more but some of us were able to use the apartment as launch to many Rome sites. This isn't a value option as it cost as much or more than getting hotels, however it was nice to be able to sit around each day as a group. Would recommend Italy Perfect. As you say, this is nicer than a hotel of comparable price with so much space, large living rooms and dining room where all of you could gather that you wouldn't find in any hotel even at a higher price. The price/room/night is less than that of the 4 star hotel across the street. It does reflect high quality. When we talked to you about it, you said that all members of your group could handle that. We had a total of two families staying together in this lovely property. Set in the heart of Roma near the Vatican, this apartment was spectacular. It had everything you needed and was central to restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, etc. Additionally, you're only a few blocks away from transit to anywhere within Roma. We were extremely comfortable in this gorgeous apartment. I highly recommend this place to any traveling to Roma looking for a centrally located, private, quiet and safe environment.

The apartment was better than we hoped for, beautiful and so comfortable and spacious for all. Everything went smoothly. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Rome. The apartment was everything everyone had said about it...just wonderful. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk everywhere and all the shops and restaurants nearby. Barbara and her assistant were great and very helpful with luggage, etc. I would recommend the apartment to anyone. I especially liked the secure feeling of the apartment and the surrounding area.

We were a family group of six people and a baby, not all "couples". This 5 bedroom apartment was very nicely decorated / roomy, upscale, very clean & comfortable for everyone. Leafy views out of the windows were lovely. The Master Bedroom with balcony was very large and the other bedrooms, while not huge, were a comfortable size. Beds were comfortable. Pillows nice. Several people of our foodie family could work in the Kitchen at one time, even when the highchair & baby were occupying space. Dishwaher - a plus. There were ample pots, pans, dishes & utensils, as well as a smattering of spices and oils, I presume left by previous guests. The table in the Dining Room accommodated 8. It was handy for spreading out our maps and planning our day, in addition to our meals. Living Room was very large. We chose / enjoyed the location primarily because it was not a tourist neighborhood. The location was very convenient both for prepared food shopping as well as minor grocery shopping. This is a city location, so there are no sprawling Esselunga supermarkets! However, we always found everything that we needed, from spices & oils to quality produce & roasts!Nearby deluxe shopping options, as well as neighborhood coffee bars (Scia Scia Caffe) and gelaterias were perfect destinations for strolls with the stroller & baby. It was easy to blend into the neighborhood. For more touristy options, it was an easy 10-ish minute walk to Piazza del Popolo. A cab ride took 15 minutes or longer, because of one-way streets & Rome traffic. The hotel across the street was very, very convenient..... we knew we could always rely on their Front Desk to secure a cab for us in 5 - 10 minutes! The apartment contained a washer AND dryer, which was a bonus. However, as mentioned in the Italy Perfect travel prep, the appliance cycles took forever! My advice is -- do not leave your clothes washing until the end of your stay or you will be left with a lot of damp clothes! There are no 20 minute cycles in Italy! The one negative of our stay at Elegante was that the shower drain in the "Master Bathroom" was broken. After our first several showers, we were left with standing water in the shower stall that would not drain out. We informed Barbara, our greeter, and she advised us that the owners were aware of the situation. However, the drain was not repaired during the time of our stay..... perhaps unfortunate timing for us. However -- All in all, we were quite happy with our stay at Elegante Apartment in Prati. It was a lovely, spacious, very clean and comfortable home away from home for us and we would come again! [We're happy that you enjoyed your stay. We loved our apartment (5 bedrooms, 3 baths). Our experience couldn't have been better. The staff was always pleasant and accommodating. The only negative aspect of the apartment was getting the gate and the outside gate opened. Barbara was a wonderful greeter and always on top of everything. We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful, spacious 5 bedroom, 3 bath apartment during our family vacation. It was exactly as described on the website and we were not disappointed! Pat at Italy Perfect was a pleasure to work with and she was extremely helpful in answering our questions which made our decision easy. We found the apartment to be extremely clean and very nicely decorated, blending baroque with contemporary. The kitchen is well equipped and the washer/dryer was convenient, although not quite as large as we're used to here in the States. The bedding was very comfortable with luxury linens and plenty of towels, which was welcoming after a day of touring. There was someone there to help with our bags, both on arrival and departure, and Barbara (who spoke fluent English) met us at the apartment to give us an orientation and lots of good information. We found the apartment to be conveniently located to restaurants and there is a grocery store nearby. The Leonardo da Vinci hotel is across the street and they are more than happy to call a cab for you at the front desk, but beware....the hotel charges for the service which almost doubles your fare. We found the residential location to be ideal -- the street was quiet and not too busy but within walking distance of many interesting places. [Thank you so much! The Italy Perfect Team]

My entire family can not put into words what an awesome experience we all had at our home away from home (Elegante)! The 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment that we rented from Italy Perfect surpassed any expectations we might have had. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. Bedrooms were nicely appointed with ample storage space, flat screen televisions and beautiful linens! The European kitchen had everything you would need to cook from beautiful knifes; dishes; pots and pans of value, glassware etc.The apartment's location was excellent! Lovely neighborhood with close access to the Tiber River, Spanish Steps, Vatican (all within walking distance). There were far to many restaurants of value to even suggest! We would recommend you wander and stop in on any restaurant that looks appealing to you. (The food is spectacular!) We took a one day trip to Florence by rail and it was very smooth travel experience and spent around 10 hours there. We also took an hour train ride to a little city right outside of Rome called Orvieto. IT IS A MUST!. Rail passes and site tickets can be purchased ahead of time from home on line. Lastly I personally would like to thank Pat from Italy Perfect who was an angel in assisting us with anything we needed. Her call back response was unbelievable! We truly believe our trip would not have turned out as perfect if we did not have Pat to go to with everything and anything. I know that this review is late, but it is worth letting prospective vacationers know how remarkable this apartment is.... First of all, it is quite large, and it is very well maintained. The owner did a splendid job in maintaining the architectural beauty of the apartment while updating it with such amenities as air conditioning and WiFi. It is very clean and comfortably sleeps 6, (that is how many were in our group). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Italy Perfect was responsive and attentive to our needs. I planned my birthday celebration by taking my 4 children, daughter in law and 5 month old grandson to Rome for a week. The apartment was as it was advertised, beautifully remodeled, well appointed and well maintained. The location worked well for us we were able to walk to all our destinations. It is in a neighborhood so you have access to food shops if you want to have meals in the apartment. The apartment was perfect for us, my only complaint is the house manager did not speak English and if our driver had not been with us to translate we would have had many issues on how to operate appliances and electronics. We had a wonderful time. The apartment was perfect for our group of six women. Two had their own bedrooms and that worked out very well. We were able to walk to the Vatican and there were several nice restaurants close to the apartment. The beds were great and all the bathrooms had been updated. Pat from Italy Perfect helped us find transportation from the airport and the check in/out process was seamless. Pat was so helpful and gave us many ideas about packing, restaurants and transportation. I would highly recommend this apartment and Pat from Italy Perfect. the apartment was very well placed. Architecturally it is beautiful, high ceilings, large windows, natural wood moldings, door frames and doors. Interesting ceiling mouldings and medallions. Really quite pallacial. Very spacious. The three main bedrooms are large and comforable. Two large full bathrooms, the third bathroom exists but is not worth talking about. It is fully equipped. We were able to travel light thanks to the washer and dryer. The building itself is quiet. There is not alot of street noise, even though you are only 1 block from a major shopping & restaurant avenue. It is close to shopping, restaurants and the metro. Many attractions were in a 10-15 minute walking distance. The colleseum only a short easily navigated metro ride away. The houseman Jaicabo was very helpful. He speaks Spanish & Itailan, but very little English or French. The only negative comment might be that some of the furniture looks tired and could be repllaced. Living room sofas would be one. This place has a great location. The AC was not working well and one bedroom is not air conditioned at all. The unit could have been better supplied with starter detergent and soap etc. Carolina recommend by Italy Perfect was just great she is a terrific tour guide. [Thank you so much, Paul. The manager would have liked to have known because it was working well during the very hot summer, so maybe it needed a little maintenance that will certainly going to be done before next summer.]

We had chosen the Elegante Apartment in the Prati District for our party of six adults (three couples). We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the apartment. It is spacious, beautiful and very comfortable. We traveled during an incredible heat wave with temps in the upper 90's. However, we always knew we could cool off back at the apartment. Each bedroom has it's own air conditioning unit and they worked very well. Each couple had plenty of room in their own bedroom and it was great to have the rest of the apartment to spend time together. The location of the apartment is also very convenient. It's a very safe, quiet neighborhood but is still close enough to walk if you so choose. Because of the heat we often took cabs or Uber rides to our destination but you can certainly walk to the Spanish Steps and Via del Corso area. There are a couple of grocery stores close by, but there are plenty of restaurants too. Lastly, Pat from Italy Perfect was very helpful when I was planning this trip as Rome takes a bit of research if you want to do it right. There's so much to see and do and she was a big help! We stayed in the Elegante apartment for one week and everything was fantastic. As a party of seven, it was difficult to find locations with enough bedrooms, but this apartment was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. It had a prime location, and was within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit in Rome. We loved shopping on the nearby Via Del Corso and would recommend the pizza place across the road (delicious!). Giocomo, the attendant who met us at the apartment, was extremely helpful (especially when moving in and out) and answered all of our questions. Our only complaint is that for such a beautiful place, we found the appliances to be sparse and relatively cheap (particularly the coffee maker and toaster). Also, the 4th bedroom is NOT air conditioned (which normally wouldn't be an issue, but was somewhat inconvenient in the 40+ degree heat!). Otherwise, we loved our stay and would definitely return to both the apartment and Rome itself. [Thank you so much for your fair review. There is now air conditioning in all bedrooms. Please note that the large appliances are high quality German manufacture such as Gaggenau. Sorry about the drip coffee maker that is of the type one can find in Italy where Italians prefer using their own stovetop coffee makers. We stayed in the Elegante apartment and found the neighborhood to be perfect. It was quiet with lots of dining options and a grocery store right around the corner. We were able to walk to the Pantheon, the Vatican, Spanish Steps and other sites on the way. We were two families traveling together and the apartment provided plenty of space for everyone with well appointed furnishings and bathrooms. It really is as the name suggests- elegant. Our greeter was very helpful and we had no problems with anything during our stay. It is a great place to stay if you want to be away from the crowds and yet can still walk everywhere, except maybe the Coliseum-we took cabs there. There is a hotel across the street where you can request taxis and around the corner a great place for espressos. We would stay there again and have already recommended Italy Perfect to friends.

This apartment is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful, spacious and in a great location. My family and I (there were 7 of us, including 3 children and my in-laws) had plenty of room and privacy after spending hours walking the beautiful and historic streets of Rome. The apartment is in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is close to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, subway, etc. While we walked most everywhere, we did take the subway a few times to some of the farther destinations like the ancient Rome. The greeter spoke next to no English but we communicated well enough to get by. Italy Perfect also gave us suggestions for places to eat, tour guides, car services and other necessities. Thank you for making this a most memorable trip of a lifetime. The apartment was absolutely as fabulous as the pictures. The location was great, very convenient and off the normal tourist track. It was an easy walk to St. Peter's, the Piazza de Populo, The Corso and so on. We had no problem finding a grocery and ample shopping and restaurants. We were also impressed with our promptness of our greeters and we also used Rocco for our hired ride services. We even did a day trip to Assissi which all of us would highly recommend. This four-bedroom, three-bath apartment is spacious, well-furnished, and lovely. Everything was perfect. We especially liked the neighborhood -- close enough to walk to all the sites but not touristy. There are many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. We visited Rome at the end of December and it was a great experience. The Elegante apartment was a very good choice for our team (two families-4 adults/ 4 children). We did not experience any problems with the accommodations or the service. The apartment is beautiful and very spacious. There was was someone waiting there to meet us and they were very easy to get in touch with so they we could discuss our arrival time. We needed to have one of the beds reconfigured so that it would be 2 twin beds and someone came over the first evening we were there and remade the beds. Everything was great with our stay and we always tell people that the apartment we stayed at in Rome was "huge, had the most beautiful floors and chandeliers". The apartment listed as Elegnate in Rome was perfect. The pictures depicted the apartment exactly.We were met by two very nice men that helped us get settled. There were even fresh flowers in the apartment. The location was excellent very close to shopping and a 20 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. We found a great restaurant, Sorpasso's, close to the apartment, it was outstanding and visited mostly by locals. Pat from Italy Perfect was so helpful and always available for questions. Our stay could not have been nicer.We used a great tour guide, Adriano Bortoli at 39 335 411727. This was our second time using him in Rome. He is very knowledgeable and a delightful man. We had a wonderful experience with no issues when we stayed in the apartment in Rome. It was a lovely, clean apartment.We only needed to see the management company twice - once when we got there and again when we left. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Rome. Sometimes it is best to say nothing rather than point out difficulties. Sadly I could not recommend Italy Perfect to a friend,it might work for them but it did not for me. Most of my,our issues revolved around the interpretation of issues. The Elegante apartment is in a convenient neighborhood for the Vatican,shopping,getting s cab at the hotel across the street,the DaVanchi. The apartment was ok a bit dark,needed brighter lighting,it was short on dishes and wine glasses,there were only two. The greeter,was more interested in correcting our driver on our early arrival,than shaving or providing us with an Elegant arrival greeting.. Our second greeter,with very limited English was there to point out what we could not do,rather than what we could do to sinks,draind,appliances,trash etc... The keys did not work ,the entry way was not clean or kept up ,but dirty and dusty Outside in the evening it was dark,lights failed to turn on,the elevator was a flight of stairs to get to,not convenient to get to for people with canes,or climbing issues. But I tend to expect elegance and perfection in my rentals,I we did not get it here,Rome was not a disappoiment,the apt was... [We are pleased this guest found the neighborhood convenient and that the apartment was ok. We are very sorry these guests were not pleased with the service. They called the manager the day before to say they would arrive at 3pm but showed up unexpectedly at 11am, without calling ahead or having their driver call as they were requested to do multiple times. The manager rushed over (not pausing to shave) and was able to welcome the guests by 11:15 but they found a few things not quite in readiness. Confused, because no previous guest or driver has missed the request to call when leaving the airport, he did spend too much time with the driver. The apartment has good Italian lighting, all light bulbs were functioning and, as explained in the information provided to every guest, electricity in Italy is approximately 6x the cost of that in North America so Italians tend to use less powerful light bulbs. The manager has show us via Skype that there are plenty of dishes and assures us there were 8 wine glasses. There could be more, but there were more than 2. The houseman demonstrated to the guests the operation of the appliances, maybe it seemed like a negative lesson, but he knows from experience if guests don’t understand, they can accidentally break the appliances. There should be written instructions for the appliances and we will ensure they will be provided in the future. We spoke to the guest on the telephone before he made the reservation and told him specifically how many steps to reach the elevator and he personally assured us that the one person in his party with mobility issues would be able to handle them. We confess to some small issues. The confusion about the arrival that was due to the failure of the guests to follow the clear instructions. The apartment owner is apologetic about the problem with external gate keys, external lights and cleaning of the building common area and will work with the building manager to improve that situation. Italy Perfect provided detailed information on arrivals, steps and interior lighting in advance. The complaints about steps and # of wine glasses are non-issues. Neither the arrival confusion nor the problems with the exterior key, lights and maintenance diminish the elegance of this lovely apartment, witness so many reviews of appreciation. Very happy with the overall accommodations. Good size bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved the location. Quiet neighborhood, close to market, busy working streets nearby. Easy walk to some good sites. Really enjoyed the Borghese Museum and Garden, very cool and not so crowded. Book a guided tour of the coliseum, well worth the money not wait in long lines. Nice to have all your questions answered by an expert.

Our party of 8 loved the apartment. The location was perfect for all of the sights we wanted to see – we were basically able to walk everywhere – there was a grocery store nearby and lots of fabulous restaurants. The apartment was very clean – very well-maintained and beautifully decorated. We loved that it was stocked with great movies that were relative to the attractions of Rome. It offered privacy for our two families yet lots of room to congregate together. The apartment manager was so helpful and even greeted us at the apartment a few hours earlier than our scheduled arrival and had someone with him to unload all of our luggage. He also arranged for our transport to the airport when we left. All-in-all we found it to be perfect for the last leg of our vacation. We would highly recommend the apartment to friends.

This is a wonderfully spacious apartment that is walkable to the Spanish Steps and many other sites and even the Vatican (about a mile or so). The apartment is elegant, spacious, and comfortable. We fit 7 people very comfortably with different sleep schedules. The Wifi works well. The beds are comfortable. You can have breakfast at the hotel across the street if you don't feel like cooking. The street is less busy than other streets which reduces noise relative to other potential locations. I would stay here again if I visited Rome again.

The five of us were spending a few days in Rome before we traveled to Tuscany. Hotels were so expensive and provided services we just didn't need, so we checked VRBO and discovered this perfect, perfect alternative. The apartment was huge, so well situated, and elegant. Living areas were comfortable and adequate, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The photos were spot-on. You should try this place! Fabulous!

Our group of eight stayed very very comfortably in the Elegante apartment. The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept well. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and quiet. The kitchen was perfect for us to prepare our breakfasts and a couple of evening meals. There was also a small washer and dryer in the kitchen. We would definitely stay there again.

The trip was wonderful.  The accommodations in Florence had an excellent location.  The unit was clean and well maintained.  I would certainly go back as it provided an excellent base of operation to explore Florence. Rome was simply off the chart!  The local staff were on top of every need and question.  The apartment was simply breathtaking.  Perfect location, outstanding appointments in the apartment and the best gelato a block away.  No need for cabs everything was in walking distance

Wow! What a memorable trip to Rome and greatly due to the wonderful Italy perfect and our apartment, Elegante! We were greeted by the host and crew and they were always available for any questions, concerns, and information. The apartment was no less than stunning! Spacious, beautiful, and the most perfect location! Beds were most comfortable, kitchen fantastic, and all was first class. We had almost three weeks there and it made us feel as if we were in "our" home with lots of room to not bump into each other all the time! We loved, loved, loved the neighborhood! Not touristy and yet only a few minutes walk over the bridge to the Piazza Popolo. Having the hotel across the street was a great convenience as we could get taxis immediately, shopping around the corner, and great places to eat nearby.
